Since taking over the Rote Wand from his parents, Burgi and Josef Walch Sr., in 1987 – who had already made it a beloved destination for great food – he has poured his heart and soul into this place. And he still does.
A true culinary visionary, Joschi continues to shape the Rote Wand with passion, foresight, creativity, and dedication – together with Natascha, he’s turned it into what it is today.
Those who know Joschi know: he never stands still. He’s always in motion, always full of new ideas to take the Rote Wand to the next level – every single day.
