Not only is this the cradle of alpine skiing, but also the 4-star Rote Wand Gourmet Hotel is located right next to the Zugerbergbahn. Ski in ski out is the magic word that takes you from the breakfast table straight to the slopes in just a few minutes.
An average of seven meters of fresh snow per winter and 68% mechanically snow-covered slopes make Ski Arlberg one of the most snow-sure and diverse ski resorts in the world. Between 1,300 and 2,800 meters above sea level, 85 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts await you – many of them with the seat heating invented on the Arlberg, 300 km of ski and snowboard runs in all levels of difficulty, 200 km of deep snow runs, highly trained snow sports instructors in numerous ski schools, fun parks, permanent race tracks and the most beautiful freeride routes far and wide.
The biggest attraction for enthusiastic skiers is the “White Ring”. You have to ski the legendary ski circuit from Lech via Zürs to Zug and Oberlech. At least once. Better still, more often.

Ski shop, rental and depot directly at the hotel
In the hotel’s own ski shop and rental, you can hire your ski and snowboard equipment directly from Marco Ender at “full service”. Marco also offers service and sales. Come and have a look. Open daily from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm.
