Up here, where the air is fresher and the senses sharper, every day begins with a true delight: an à la carte breakfast in the mountain breeze, brimming with homemade specialties and regional treasures – freshly baked bread, delicate spreads, alpine cheese with character, and the scent of coffee dancing in the air.
At midday, it’s all about getting to the heart of things – or rather, to the fish. If you like, you can catch your own lunch from our nearby fishpond – we’ll fire up the grill. And once a week, it’s all about sausage: dive into our wurstmacherei during the Bratwurst workshop. Be amazed, get your hands messy, laugh – and enjoy your very own creation fresh off the grill.
Afternoons? Sweet, sparkling, and sun-kissed. A slice of cake by the pool or a Rote Wand Spritz on the terrace – both served with views of the mountains, a feeling of bliss, and a touch of dolce vita.
In the evening, things get festive: a multi-course gourmet menu that blends alpine roots with bold creativity. Seasonal ingredients, daring pairings, and a whole lot of love – served with a smile and a fine glass of wine.

Whether active or relaxed – your day moves at just the right pace with us. Our daily activity program offers something for everyone: yoga, Pilates, or fitness sessions – weather permitting, held on our outdoor yoga platform with breathtaking mountain views. A fresh-air start that energizes body and mind.
Then it’s time to head out into nature: 250 marked hiking trails begin right at our doorstep, inviting you to explore. For cycling enthusiasts, we offer complimentary bikes and an e-bike rental service by Sportalp Lech (for a fee), so you can conquer the mountains with ease.
Calling all golfers: just a short walk away, you’ll find Zug’s golf course – the highest-altitude golf course in Austria. Our guests enjoy a 25% discount on green fees.
And when it’s time to unwind, you’ll find plenty of ways to relax: the pool and sunbathing lawn await, as does our spa – the perfect place to leave the stress of everyday life behind. From pop-up dinners with guest chefs who’ll wow your taste buds, to Wine & Dine evenings where perfectly paired wines meet bold, creative menus. Things get even more exciting at our Four Hands Dinners, where Jamie Unshelm teams up with top chefs to create menus that push the boundaries of taste.
And we’re just getting started: experience our Feldküche – a long table set in the middle of nature, where we cook over open fire and serve unforgettable dishes under the sky. We’re kicking it all off with our Rote Wand Summer Festival, from June 26 to 29, 2025! Look forward to a vibrant mix of inspiring winemakers and guest chefs, an open-air Feldküche, a pétanque afternoon with music, street food, bubbles, and Pet Nat Tea, a striking art installation, and a hands-on “Plant & Food Waste Colouring Lab” workshop – plus many more surprises.
