Rote Wand Sommerfest
Thursday, June 25 to Sunday, June 28, 2026
Let’s celebrate the start of summer together, for the fourth time. Four days dedicated to great food, time outdoors, and being together, relaxed, yet meaningful.
We begin on Thursday with the Welcome Night: apero, finger food, and an evening between Dinner Roulette in the Friends & Fools Lounge and the Rote Wand Chef’s Table. Friday starts with yoga and a mountain breakfast, followed by a garden party with DJ, Thai street food, pétanque, and natural wines. In the evening, we gather again for a BBQ.
Saturday slows things down with yoga, a wood workshop, and fire kitchen at the Zuger Säge. On Sunday, we share one last breakfast before saying goodbye.
Four days of eating, drinking, and connecting with great people and just the right amount of ease.

Wine and Dine with Drops

Drops Contemporary Wines from Berlin represents handcrafted wines from international icons and exciting young talents. Whether biodynamic or organic, all share the same goal: expressive, vibrant wines that reflect their origin.
On 6 July, Oliver brings selected winemakers to the Friends & Fools Lounge, pouring together with them while Jamie Unshelm prepares a multi-course menu. An evening of great wines, exchange, and genuine enjoyment.

Rote Wand Dialogues

Rote Wand Dialogues bring together people who shape ideas from art, design, architecture, fashion and journalism. No classic panels, but evolving conversations: open, curious, sometimes contradictory.
At the center is exchange and the question of how we shape the present. Accompanied by fire kitchen with Lorenzo Lunghi and Giorgia Goggi. Direct, reduced, communal.

Wine and Dine with Petra and Franz Weninger
Monday, July 13, 2026 at 6.30 pm.
Petra and Franz Weninger stand for biodynamic winemaking and expressive wines from Blaufränkisch and Furmint. Grown on living soils, their wines reflect origin, depth, and precision, shaped by clay, limestone, slate, and old vines.
On 13 July, they bring their wines to the Rote Wand, while Jamie Unshelm creates a multi-course menu. An evening of origin, character, and refined enjoyment.

Wine and Dine with Antoine Robles
Monday, July 20, 2026 at 6.30 pm.
Antoine Robles began his project in the Jura in 2024 with a clear philosophy: nothing added, nothing corrected, only what nature gives and careful hands can guide. On 3.8 hectares in the “Clos de Vallières,” he works with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard and Trousseau to create honest, expressive wines.
On 20 July, Antoine will pour his wines in person, while Jamie Unshelm prepares a multi-course menu. An evening of lightness, depth, and genuine connection.

Wine and Dine with Weingut Aufricht
Monday, July 27, 2026 at 6.30 pm.
Overlooking Lake Constance with the Alps on the horizon, Weingut Aufricht creates wines rooted in place and shaped by generations. A family estate combining experience and fresh perspectives, working sustainably with old vines and a clear sense of identity.
On 27 July, they bring their expressive wines to the Rote Wand, while Jamie Unshelm prepares a multi-course menu. An evening of depth, elegance, and shared passion for wine.

Wine and Dine with Valentin Morel
Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 6.30 pm.
After studying international law, Valentin Morel chose winemaking and found his path in the Jura. Today, he farms 6 hectares of Chardonnay, Savagnin, Pinot Noir, Trousseau and Poulsard on Jurassic soils, working with minimal intervention to create honest, expressive wines.
On 5 August, Valentin will present his wines at the Rote Wand, while Jamie Unshelm prepares a multi-course menu. An evening of character, depth and living wine culture.

Wine and Dine with Weingut Andreas & Elisabeth Tscheppe
Monday, August 10, 2026 at 6.30 pm.
Andreas and Elisabeth Tscheppe have been farming their vineyards in southern Styria biodynamically since 2006, working on steep, terraced sites between 350 and 560 meters above sea level. Their focus lies on the balance between soil, plant, and energy, supported by careful manual work and biodynamic practices. Their wines, made from Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Muscat varieties, are spontaneously fermented, aged for extended periods and bottled unfiltered. Expressive, vibrant, and deeply rooted in their origin.
On 10 August, they bring their wines to the Rote Wand, while Jamie Unshelm prepares a multi-course menu. An evening of energy, depth and refined tension.

Pop up Dinner with Boii Boii
Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6.30 pm.
Boii Boii, a modern Thai restaurant from Berlin, brings vibrant flavors and a fresh perspective on Thai cuisine to the Rote Wand. Founded by Nita and Niklas Wolff, it combines authentic roots with seasonal ingredients and creative, casual dining. What started as the pop-up series “THAI NOODS” quickly evolved into a dynamic restaurant in Kreuzberg.
On 17 August, the team will cook a special pop-up dinner. An evening full of flavor, lightness, and modern Thai cuisine.

Open Fire Kitchen with Jah Izakaya
Monday, August 24, 2026 at 4.30 pm.
Jah Izakaya from Copenhagen offers a modern take on the Japanese izakaya culture, blending traditional flavors with Scandinavian influences. Founded by a Danish-Japanese team, the focus is on sharing plates, seasonal ingredients and a style that is both precise and relaxed.
On 24 August, they bring their cuisine to the Rote Wand open fire kitchen. Accompanied by sake and selected wines, it becomes an afternoon and evening full of flavor, ease and vibrant energy.

The second edition of the Rote Wand Dialogues continues the format and anchors it even deeper within the summer at Rote Wand. Over several days, conversations, shared experiences, meals and encounters unfold, bringing together discourse and atmosphere.
