60 years ago, the pioneer of culinary delights, Josef Walch senior brought fondue to the Arlberg.
Crowned royals and many other famous faces have been picked up at least once by Josef Walch in a horse-drawn carriage in Lech and spoiled at the Gasthof Rote Wand according to all the rules of the art of fondue. Even today, a fondue evening in the winter months at the Rote Wand Stuben is a culinary highlight on the Arlberg.
