We are thrilled to announce that Max Natmessnig and the Rote Wand Chef’s Table have been named Chef of the Year 2022 by Gault Millau.
We would like to take this opportunity to heartily congratulate Max & the entire Rote Wand Chef’s Table team on this extraordinary achievement and thank them for their tireless efforts, creativity and curiosity.
This is the third award after last year’s awards, “Most Popular Gourmet Hotel 2021” and “Gastronomer of the Year 2021“, which, especially in times like these, motivates us even more, drives us forward and confirms us in what we do, which we love.
Since 2017, Max Natmessnig has been head chef of the gourmet extra class at the Rote Wand Chef’s Table at Schualhus. In less than ten years, the native of Lower Austria has already cooked from the “Steirereck” in Vienna to the 3-star “Oud Sluis” in the Netherlands to the “Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare” in New York.
