Friends and Fools x Feldküche

Three Feldküche events on three dates for three days each makes for three very special occasions for Friends & Fools. Feldküche, or field kitchen, has been travelling Austria since 2011, bringing a regional guest chef, regional produce, drinks and guests together on a long table in nature – by the lake, on a mountain (or even on a dam). Now the table will be set for Friends & Fools, making for unforgettable moments, over the hills and far, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Fresh with Lukas Nagl – Bootshaus Traunkirchen, Chef of the Year 2023

Monday, June 26th 2023 at 11 am.

As part of our summer festival, Lukas Nagl will be cooking at the field kitchen “Feldküche”. This year, the upper Austrian native was awarded Chef of the Year 2023 by Gault Millau and is one of the best, if not the best, fish chef in the country.

  • 11 am. Joint hike to the field kitchen

Earthy with Dalad Kambhu – Kin Dee Berlin

Saturday, July 8th 2023 at 4.30 pm. 

Dalad Kambhu, the shooting star of the Berlin food scene, will visit us in July to prepare a summer menu as part of the field kitchen. With no culinary training, Dalad became the first Thai chef to win multiple awards. Among others she was awarded with a Michelin star. In her restaurant “Kin Dee” she serves an idiosyncratic, exciting cuisine with ideas from Asia to Europe

Wild with Elif Oskan – Gül Restoran & Markus Stöckle – Rosi Zürich

Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11 am. 

Already for the second time Elif and Markus will be visiting us in Zug in September to prepare an unforgettable field kitchen menu together. The power couple enriches the Zürich gastro scene for several years now with meanwhile three restaurants. Elif cooks Turkish. Markus Bavarian. So Rosi is all about a modern, creative take on local cuisine – accessible, cozy and down-to-earth. And Gül serves the finest Turkish cuisine. The restaurant’s cuisine is inspired primarily by Oskan’s Turkish background and their family tradition.
