For our hotel restaurant, which has been awarded three Gault Millau toques, we are looking for a Sous Chef. Under the direction of the Chef de Cuisine you will support our kitchen crew in the preparation and presentation of all dishes.

 

Your experience and personality are the certain something …

You have completed training as a chef and have already gained some experience?

You are a team player and love to work in a team at the highest level?

You do not only bring your skills, but also your character?

Together with your team you will ensure smooth processes, a clean kitchen.

You stand for the high level of our food and are interested in new processing techniques?

As a trained cook you actively support your team in all areas and have an eye for detail?

 

Your tasks

Creating new dishes together with the Chef de Cuisine, contributing to the menu composition, further development of the gourmet philosophy

Substitute for the Chef de Cuisine in his absence

Supporting the Chef de Cuisine in all administrative matters such as purchasing, merchandise planning and personnel planning

Training and further education of the staff, especially of the apprentices

Organization and compliance with all relevant processes in the kitchen to guarantee a smooth operation

Compliance with hygiene standards

Cost-conscious use and timely requisition of all materials used

Careful and professional storage and use of raw materials and products

Collaboration and input in menu composition
